The afternoon’s featured race was the $8,800 Open Trot with 6 starters, Ackles Hanover (PP3) and Bruce Aldrich Jr. were first to the front, the favorite Kingpin Hanover (J. Devaux) made a break vying for the lead taking himself out of contention prior to the opening panel in 29.1, Ackles was still the leader at the next station in 59.4. Jumpshot (Fern Paquet Jr.) made his move at the ¾ marker in 1:29.4 with Win And Dream right behind him, turning for home Ackles Hanover was still the one to catch, Win And Dream used every foot of the stretch to get up and collar Ackles Hanover at the wire for the win in 2:00.1, Jumpshot got up for second.  Win and Dream was driven by Michael Merton and is trained & owned by Steve Ray of New Berlin, NY

Jim Devaux had the hot hand this afternoon with 3 winners by the fourth race, he had a chance to win 5, but his 2 Jody Riedel mounts both made breaks. Monica Eriksen nabbed 2 training wins on the damp afternoon

The 14 Year Old Provocativeprincen shows no sign of slowing down, this afternoon he notched his eight season win for trainer Anthony Regina in 1:56.2 with Jim Devaux in the sulky.
