R2-Explosive-Ridge--NAADA

After 15 hours of steady rain, it left the track in sloppy condition to start the day, conditions gradually improved as the afternoon progressed.

Going into todays’ card, Adam Adamczyk was sporting a UDRS of .456 with 10 wins in 29 starts for the 34-year-old provisional Driver, at the conclusion of the day he upped his numbers even more as he took both splits of the NAADA series.

Adamczyk took the first heat of the NAADA contest with a wire-to-wire win aboard Explosive Ridge in an even 2:00 – $3.10, Kashas Boy (A. Schwartz) finished second, followed by Hunters Gal (J. Lee) In addition to reining home the winner, Adamczyk is also the owner & trainer of Explosive Ridge, who registered his third win on the year.

R4-Bully-Boy---NAADA

In the second heat, Joe Faraldo aboard By A Hoff Hanover from the rail was the first away from gate, Bully Boy who started from post position 8 made a break and it looked like it knocked him out of contention with Adam Adamczyk in the bike. By A Hoff Hanover continued to trip the beam at every station, Bully Boy had recovered from his miscue and continued to advance throughout the mile and made-up ground with every step.  At the ¾ pole he was 3 deep, 2 lengths off the leader, turning for home he had 3 lengths to make up on the leader, despite making a break and exerting extra energy, he still has enough gas in the tank to trot home in 31.1 to trip the timer in 2:01.1 – $7.30.  For the Gary Messenger trainee, it was his fourth win on the year, second victory in a row.

R5-Rosie's-War-Bonds-OPEN

This week’s Open Trot was minus Emma Town Bud, who proved to be to be much for this bunch recently after 3 consecutive wins in the Open Ranks.  Match Meif You Can (PP2) was installed the 5-2 morning line favorite by virtue of his three-race win streak. Rosies War Bonds has slowly worked his way up the ladder and was a winner of one of last week’s Open Trots, dismissed by the betting public, when the bell rang she was sent off at 14-1. When the gate left Rosies War Bonds (DiBenedetto) went straight for the lead with Match Meif You Can tracking directly behind him the entire mile through moderate fractions. Turning for home Match Meif You Can took his best shot at catching the leader, but to no avail as Rosies War Bonds drew away by 2 to score in 1:59.3 – $30.20. Rosies War Bonds has now extended his winning streak to 3 straights for trainer Robin Dibenedetto, the Muscle Mass gelding is owned by Howard Jacobs of West Orange, NJ

Today’s handle was healthy due to a Pick 5 of $3,562.08 and a guaranteed Pick 5 of $10,000 $471,660.73 with a respectable $67,380 average per race.
