Nui Ba Den N

Heston Lucky Chip left from post 5 and was on top of the field at the 1/4 pole in 27.4, but not for long as Barnabas retook the lead and was on top of the pack at the half in 56.3. In typical Brandan Parker fashion, he was 3 deep down the backside as Barnabas tripped the beam at 1:25. Nui Ba Den N was charging hard to get up in the final strides to overtake Little Power (McGwire Sowers) and Trevor One (Jim Devaux) in 1:53.3. In the process he equaled his lifetime mark for owner George Dremonas and earned his 5th win of the year. Nui Ba Den N is trained by Chris Petrelli.

Jim Taggart Jr had 3 trips to the winner circle this afternoon, the Saratoga based Melissa Beckwith/Brett Beckwith teamed up with 2 winners on the card with Unwritten Rule 1:55.2 – $3.80 and Rockin The Blaze 1:55.2 – $2.20.  Escapetobullville shed his maiden label with a win in 2:01 for trainer Steve Crevani. The Merton Clan was still missing from action this afternoon, they will also miss tomorrow but are expected to return for their Thursday drives.
